Lutein can effectively absorb sunlight and blue light in the macula of the eye, protect the retina from damage by these lights, or help to prevent or slow down the aging and degeneration of the eyes. Zeaxanthin is a natural pigment that filters out blue light. Together with lutein, it has a synergistic effect to protect and nourish the eyes.
