As the weather gets colder, strokes become more frequent. Besides temperature changes, there are three other factors that can increase the risk of stroke. If you or a family member suddenly experiences symptoms such as facial drooping, numbness or weakness, or blurred vision, these could be warning signs of a stroke, and you should seek immediate medical attention.

When is the most likely time to have a stroke?
winter:Hemorrhagic strokeThe peak season is from December to February each year.
Monday: More than half of all strokes occur on Mondays, possibly due to overexertion and insufficient rest over the weekend.
The risk of stroke is twice as high between 6 a.m. and noon, due to increased blood pressure and thicker blood, which makes blockages more likely.
Emotional excitement, fear, or anger can cause a spike in blood pressure, often leading to hemorrhagic stroke.
