- Anti-free radical / anti-stress shield: The joint use of Olive extract (anti-free radical) and Olive Wax (protects anti-stress proteins), helps to protect the cells against environment- induced stress. Olive wax penetrates skin wonderfully and rebuilds damaged linkages within skin cells. It is scientifically proven that the olive extracts repair the skin, application of olive oil immediately following exposure to UV rays has a preventive effect on the formation of tumors and skin cancer. The waxes from olives can prolong this skin-sheilding effect the longest and thus they are used in our Rose Emulsion to protect skin from daily U/V and envronmental damage.
- Reinforces cellular cohesiveness: Commiphora Mukul extracts help to consolidate the intercellular cement, thus strengthening the epidermis’ barrier function. The oleoresin from the Indian tree, Commiphora Mukul, known under the name of Guggul, has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine. It was traded for centuries by caravans on the Great Arabian Incense Road; it was part of the gifts brought by the queen of Sheba to King Solomon, under the name Bdellium. It contains two markers: Commipherol and Commipherine. This active ingredient acts on two enzymes committed in lipogenesis and in lipolysis chain reactions, its activity is independant of the hormonal system. By increasing the triglyceride storage, it helps to maintain skin tone. The skin is firmer and wrinkles disappear thanks to a simple mechanical effect.Plant derived hyaluronic acid, which is fermented from Beetroot & Wheat, has EcoCert status; is the purest natural hyaluronic acid and most effective.
